Pet Heating Pad
How about a heating pad in a box with hole in it. Low heat and if possible something over it to leave an air space like another box. Here is article on safety of pad with cats. Also can buy pet ones.
But cats can survive outside so a bit of time inside without heat won’t kill them. I agree a cardboard box with hole in it for entry and lots of cushy blankets they can barrel into is enough.
