Avoid AMD CPUs, get an Intel CPU... even if it means downgrading a bit on your GPU.

There's really no point in getting the FX6300 alongside some powerful GPU. That FX6300 is already kind of outdated and you won't have an opportunity to upgrade that in the future. However, if you get a good Intel i5 CPU now, you'll easily be able to upgrade to a better GPU in the future as the i5 easily be able to feed powerful GPUs of the future.

As for your mouse/keyboard...
Get a mouse with a flawless sensor (Should cost 50-80 dollars), disregard the keyboard and get something very basic, something like a Logitech K100. Since you clearly do not have the budget for a mechanical, get a cheap 10 dollar keyboard.

My philosophy is that if you're going to get a keyboard, it should either be something very basic or a mechanical, everything in between is pointless.

Disregard third party CPU coolers, use the stock fan.

Disregard the optical drive, obtain a Windows 8.1 key from /r/microsoftsoftwareswap/ Download the Windows 8.1 ISO from Microsofts website and convert a USB drive into a Windows boot drive (The USB must be minimum 4GB)

FLAWLESS SENSOR MOUSE EXAMPLES:

Zowie peripherals are a safe bet for a good mouse with a flawless sensor.

I'm confident that you'll end up saving money. Worse case scenario you'll end up paying 95 dollars more for the i5 (But I'm certain you can find a proper i5 for around 170-190)

But you'll save around 80 dollars from the cheaper Windows 8.1 key

You'll save around 20 dollars by not buying a CD drive

You'll save 100-90 dollars buying a flawless sensor mouse and a basic keyboard

And you'll save 15 dollars by not buying a CPU cooler.

This will net you around a 100 dollars in profit.

I would recommend using the 100 dollars to get a nice pair of headphones (Maybe HyperX Cloud Gaming Headset which is around 80 dollars on the market)

Thanks! I'm a degreed historian, though no longer practicing. That's probably where my penchant for longwindedness comes from. Too many years of banging out fully cited 20-page papers in a single night. I don't know how to be concise anymore. I'd probably make a terrible writer of fiction.

The mouse is a Roccat Savu.

From what I understand it is somewhat of a love-it or hate-it kind of mouse, because the size is somewhat irregular. I really like it, and with the LED set to white it fits my aesthetic scheme really well.

Roccat Savu $49.99 on amazon. Corded mouse, programmable light, adjustable DPI, the list goes on. Use this for BF4. Absolutely love it.

Do you need to have side buttons?
Because the razer abyssus could be a fit. Other suggestions include, but are not limited to: Deathadder 3.5g, Logitech G400s, Logitech G502, SteelSeries Rival (multicolored led), Minoix Avior 7000, and Roccat Savu,

If you are set on switching and wish to keep the same shape these 2 mice are very similar:

I'm in the same boat as you- I wanted minimal buttons on my mouse. I just got a Roccat Savu and I love it.

I've been a Logitech fan all my life but I felt like their quality has been slipping for a few generations. I tried a few different mice that I ended up returning for various reasons, but ended up with a Roccat Savu and I absolutely love it. Couldn't recommend it more.

Roccat Savu Mouse

Not really interested in expensive headphones at the moment.

I have been thinking about a second monitor, how much will duel monitors drop performance?

ROCCAT Savu. Has the best optical sensor you can buy, cheap, lights if you want them (can be fully customized or turned off), great grippy sides. DPI can be adjusted from 400 to 4000 DPI I believe (not that you need anywhere above 800).

Link.
