I would personally reccomend buying a bundle with a Black or White stratocaster, even though you get the rivals expansion with the Jaguar bundle, the jaguar is a peice of trash because it's impossible to activate starpower easily, and the whammy is terrible if you play with it inverted and use your pinky to whammy like I do.

Also wanted to mention that if you buy a RB4 bundle make sure you buy a Rock Band Rivals bundle since they have improved instruments and also include the Rivals expansion.

Are you mixing up Rock Band VR with Rock Band Rivals? If the artwork on the box looks like this, then there should be a Rivals code in the box.

If you really mean Rock Band VR, that's guitar-only. No drums, no singing, not even bass. It's also only on Oculus Rift, not on PS4 or Xbone.

Sometimes it is cheaper to buy that kit and actual RB4 base game from somewhere else and the digital copy of Rivals DLC from PSN Store.

If you're good enough to notice the notes you hit get dropped, you're gonna upset pretty quick. They've improved since release, but they're still terrible. I'm almost failing songs with lots of red/yellow or bass pedal because the kit can't handle the songs. I struggle to gold star 0 and 1 difficulty songs because of the dropped notes.

If I have to pay more money for the fix or for a better kit, I will never buy another thing from them.

Buy Rock Band 3 and forget this exists for now. If there is another release in the future... maybe it will be better. For now, stay away. I literally bought a PS4 JUST to have Rockband 4... but I could not be more disappointed.

Edit: I'm a drummer and don't care about the guitar. I don't hear many complaints about the guitar anymore.

Edit 2: lmao, who are the turds that keep going and down-voting all the negative information on the game. Is this how you justify the purchase? I bought it and I accept that it was a waste of my money.
