As for your songs questions: You can buy old DLC online or in the in-game store. If you bought the exports back in the day (under the same account name, on the same console family, and currently if you're not in Europe because SIEE is kinda being dicks), you can import those into RB4. If you did not buy the exports back in the day, there is literally no way to get them anymore because the licenses to sell them have expired and thus you can't get them in RB4 (except Rock Band 3 and a few handfuls of songs that were re-released as normal DLC, such as some songs in Blitz and in the Mega Pack released recently). Any old DLC you had can be downloaded (except a few stragglers that are being difficult and RBN tracks). Currently there is no way to do customs (that I know of, but it's not my scene, so maybe there is). This comes with a brand new guitar and the Rock Band Rivals expansion which is typically $30. There is no better deal available.

The ones with Rivals should all have that woman's silhouette with band members inside her head's outline. I think they're main color scheme is blue, while the older Mad Catz main color is red.

If you're good enough to notice the notes you hit get dropped, you're gonna upset pretty quick. They've improved since release, but they're still terrible. I'm almost failing songs with lots of red/yellow or bass pedal because the kit can't handle the songs. I struggle to gold star 0 and 1 difficulty songs because of the dropped notes.

If I have to pay more money for the fix or for a better kit, I will never buy another thing from them.

Buy Rock Band 3 and forget this exists for now. If there is another release in the future... maybe it will be better. For now, stay away. I literally bought a PS4 JUST to have Rockband 4... but I could not be more disappointed.

Edit: I'm a drummer and don't care about the guitar. I don't hear many complaints about the guitar anymore.

Edit 2: lmao, who are the turds that keep going and down-voting all the negative information on the game. Is this how you justify the purchase? I bought it and I accept that it was a waste of my money.
