Regret is a bitch. When I think back to my early 20's I can vividly remember all of the things I didn't do - the girls I didn't ask out, the promotions I didn't ask for, etc. Seriously, what's the worst that would have happened? I never think about the the things I tried and failed. I learned from them and they helped me have future successes.
Also, I stumbled upon this book and thought a lot of the advice was very true. The title doesn't make it obvious but it's geared towards people your age.
