it would peel off quickly. if you wanted that feel on something not expensive, try an automotive undercoating instead. it will not be removable however.

I found that this rustoleum has a pretty smooth texture. sand the mouse with 400ish before hand. and remember, it will not come off anywhere as nicely as dipping it

Yeah I've heard of Rustoleum Undercoating ... not sure what to buy, occasionally I see the odd review saying their paint cracked and flaked in a short period of time.

Fair, I'm gonna wire brush the floor pan/repaint it Tuesday. Did a penetration test and the pans still solid thankfully, if I gave it another few months probably wouldn't be the case though. Body stuff I'll take a crack some weekend shortly. I'll post updated pictures when I can.

The wetness was because for what ever reason my passenger door likes to leak some water and its been some biblical tier rain here lol.

Gonna undercoat it with this stuff here https://www.amazon.com/Rust-Oleum-248656-Automotive-Undercoating-Professional/dp/B003CT49AS

rhino lining is too solid, it'll trap rust underneath and destroy your undercarriage. you need something that sticks and seals more like fluid film or a softer rubberized undercoating like rust-oleum

i did an entire truck frame with about 5-6 spray cans of rust-oleum's rubberized undercoating, sprays on and dries matte black. and im happy with the results
$6 a can
