I don't see any issues with what you've got going here.

That is certainly enough storage to have many games installed, and there likely wouldn't be any problem adding SSDs or HDDs later since you will have SATA ports available.

The only change I would make is to buy a M.2 SSD instead. You will only have to clip it onto the motherboard instead of cabling up a SSD and mounting it in the case. It'll also leave more space in the case to add drives later.

Or you could go for the higher speed NVME version, but they're a bit more expensive. If cost is a worry for doing that, you could always get a smaller games SSD (like 500gb or something) and then get a 250 M.2 for your boot drive and some games also if you want. I usually like to keep my games drive and boot drive separate as it means fewer read/writes and a longer life for each drive. The set up process for all of this is very easy too.

As it is your PC will be a dandy, but there's always more things to do to it :D

So I got this Samsung m.2. I got mine in the 500gb version so I would have some more space, but if you just want it as a boot drive to make it fast that 240 with a little room for your most used applications. You could drop down to a 128gb and have it be just your boot drive and you’ll still be cooking. Now there are crucial brand drives that are even cheaper than the Samsung’s, but (as far as I was informed when I chose the Samsung) they will be slower although still significantly faster than a mechanical hard drive like the one you have in your build.

There are two main types of SSDs- 2.5 inch and M.2. M.2s plug directly into a port on your motherboard, while 2.5 inch drives are more similar to hard drives where they get screwed onto your case and are then hooked up with a SATA cable. Both are crazy fast, so it really boils down to how much you want to spend, and what your case/motherboard is optimized for. I would put money down that you could have either, but I’m going to check out your build and add an edit

Edit: yeah your motherboard takes (at least) one M.2, and your case takes up to 3 2.5s. I’d highly recommend an m.2 over a 2.5 as they’re super simple to install and will add no extra wires or anything you your rig, but that’s just personal preference. If you’re looking for a little cheaper look to crucial like I mentioned, but I’m very happy with my Samsung. The main takeaway is just that anything you install on it will be faster whether it’s the operating system or Firefox or your favorite game (quicker load times). I think that’s everything you probably need to know.

Look like it uses a m.2 sata drive. Id get something like this one. You can keep using the hdd aswell.
