It looks like you can get the Connect Wireless Stick on Amazon for about $20.

The price of the Pi $10, the cable, $2.50, and the SD card, $9, comes close enough not to make much difference.

I think you're right that the archiving wouldn't be automatic, though. Maybe someone can think of a way to automate the process using this device, though. That'd be neat!

There are actually some USB drives that you can stream video from using their own wifi network. They need to be charged.

Here is an example

Would it be possible to use a wifi flash drive to automatically grab replays saved to an emulated memory card on the usb or sd card?

The thing that most excites me about 20xxte at majors is juicy juicy 1080p frame by frame replays of the pros that you can turn hitboxes on for and everything, but it's a pretty big pain in the butt to actually take all the sd cards out and transfer everything over to a computer. If you could do it all wirelessly, I could see it being much easier to convince people to do.

Has anyone tried this method yet? Does it work?

> ah, but that jump drive won't stream to your phone/tablet and/or your traveling companion's phones/tablets now will it?

Actually it will.

Internet backup isn't always available, especially when backpacking around in Asia. What I do instead is keep a wireless usb stick in my pocket and my computer automatically backs up all work files to that incrementally every 5 minutes. This also protects me if my computer gets stolen out my room because the usb stick always goes with me.

Why not just get one of those WIFI enabled usb drives. USB DRIVE

Have it wirelessly back up every hour or so, or you can write a script to send it to some cloud shit.
