For those prices you could get:
Archos 70 250GB tablet; you could surf the web and check your email, too. I assume you'd need a card reader, though.

What were you using to charge up the batteries while in the wilderness? Ive been using a Sanho Colorspace UDMA and its been a lifesaver when I am going through that many GB's without a computer nearby. There is an updated V2 but i havent seen the need to upgrade.
