You can actually try a old-school keyboard like this one that has ACPI buttons and it's USB. These have power, sleep, wake keys on the keyboard.

Its super cheap, it might work if you can find one locally

I'm not in the US, but if you are: this is $6.

Please do yourself a favour and just plug in a keyboard so you can set it on your table or desk or whatever you play at. Communication is key in this game, and when you can't express your opinion, it unfortunately leads to things like this.

I should mention I play on PS4 as well.

That's the thing, I bought this 107 key keyboard, basic from gear head:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0038M3YM8/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1495119861&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=107+key+keyboard

So no need to upgrade? What's the advantages of having a mechanical keyboard?

For the mouse, I bought this one:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00N739NEQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1495119963&sr=8-2&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=cheap+mouse&dpPl=1&dpID=41IrRMiP2hL&ref=plSrch

From doinshop.

Either that or a wired one, I forget. Again, Idk what type of mouse that is, I would like a grip, yea. What's the features to look out for?

Thanks again

I would start with a new keyboard. Pick up a cheap USB one for like $5 on Amazon: https://smile.amazon.com/107-Key-Windows-Keyboard-Black-USB/dp/B0038M3YM8/

Check all USB ports (inside and outside the PC). Do you have any other drives connected to the PC (USB perhaps)? Disconnect them for now.

You need to begin isolating as much as possible. Maybe even boot up a live Linux distro and see if anything surfaces.

Canned (compressed) air is easiest. They sell it at office supply/computer stores, some groceries/pharmacies.

Just angle the tip of the hose so that it's blowing down into the keyboard and across. Spray the air in short, quick blasts. If the can starts to get really cold, take a break and let it come back up to room temperature.

If that doesn't work, you can always pry off the troubled keys and see if there's anything stuck in there. Replace the key and press hard on it to pop it back into place.

If all else fails...I bet you could find a USB keyboard for ~$10.

If you're in the US, I found one for under $7. Although...shipping is more than the cost of the keyboard.

If you have Amazon Prime, this one's less than $8

Just giving you some options!
