My bad. I was looking at the 3.5" drives. Yeah $120 would be your price.

I guess I got it while it was on a sale. I don't remember paying anything over $100.

I don't know the answer to this, but there are 2.5" 2TB HDDs which means you don't need anything external. Like this drive - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07D99S8Z7/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_JPRtDbJP2P0GQ

If I could offer some advice it would be to get one of those drives. It probably won't be as fast at the external drive, but still better than having something external.

Out of curiosity, what is this thing you bought? Is it Sony certified?
