The first 40 games in the SEGA 48-Game Mega Arcade Pack and Sega Genesis Classic Game Pack are identical. The difference is that the Genesis pack (Series 5) contains:

Nope, I mean this one, which I believe includes the entire Sega Genesis classic collection (IIRC) or at the very least all the usually "non included ones" (aka Sonic, Toejam, etc) + the vast mayority of the others.
Which was sold for about $5 (or so) some time ago on Amazon.
Also, $1.xx USD is the regular "on sale" price for the Sega Genesis Sonic games, in fact you can normally pick them on Steam for that price tag (in response to this statement)
