I think you are a lucky man that your wife wants to ride with you, it’s not as prevalent, at least in my opinion. Enjoy your time, I recommend you get a headset intercom so you can talk and point things out to each other all the time and that she can tell you when she needs a break. We use the Sena 10 series. There are less expensive options, but these are very well made, battery’s life is excellent and well, recommended.

Amazon has the regular smh10 with the interchangeable mics for around 250. I had the R but the external battery annoyed me and the unit itself is hard to use with gloves. The smh10's jog wheel is waaay better imo.

This one is $200 or so for a set, and you may sell the other for $120 or so and have a cheap SENA! It's a great one and I still rock out to music with my earplugs in.
