Tip now that I’ve done it – the siding material is thick plastic, and not easily cut with wire cutters; a small hacksaw is much better. Also, to avoid the cable interfering with the console closure mechanism, route it down the passenger side, not the driver side as they depict

I'm unsure if any other way, but you could try an SD card, or something similar.
