Of course you can haggle anything but some products just aren't worth it. Either the store doesn't support it or the margins are too slim for there to be any wiggle room.

It depends on what you consider cheap but I think this is the best bang for the buck on mattresses:

The price is about $50 higher than normal -- usually, the queen is around $400. I've bought two of them so far and am totally happy with them.

My wife & I bought it two years ago. It feels just as good as the $3500 mattress we replaced. At less than $600, we've bought one for both sets of out parents, too.

And with Amazon Prime, you can have it tomorrow for an extra $4.

I just read about mattresses for like 10 hours a few weeks ago because I was looking for one as well. You will find this mattress highly recommended here on reddit as well as Amazon. I went for the 10" version and have only slept on it like 5 nights so the verdict is still out!
