I use plastic jars with tops that screw on. I honestly don't recall where I got them, but a 3lb bag of DME fits with a bit of room to spare and it keeps the majority of moisture out. The last little bit of DME tends to kinda get stuck as it has been opened and exposed to moisture several times by that point, but it's the best system I've found for storing DME.

Something like this would do the trick. It's not exactly what I have, but same concept.

Maybe check where you get your bulk food? My local Bulk Barn sells their empty bulk food tubs/buckets for 1$ or something. Not very pretty but functional. This blog has some ideas on using tubs/buckets for food.

I was recently converting a bunch of my bulkier dry goods from bags to containers and jars. Got some regular plastic containers at a dollar store, some of those storage containers with the pour spout, and plan on picking up some large glass jars. I think the investment for those will be worth it. But shopping around on Amazon I found some good large containers I want to get. Like this or this one.
