Okkaaaayyy. So! Does that vanity not possess drawers or cabinets? Start there. Actually, no.

  1. Get a trash bag. Every empty or NEARLY empty container gets tossed. I don't care if there's one pump left in that sucker that you're saving for a special occasion.

  2. Take EVERYTHING that's left and pull it off the counter and out from below and empty the drawers and set it on the floor of the room nextdoor.

  3. Slowly evaluate everything you NEED. You say it all has to stay, but I see 2 pump bottles of cetaphil. Y'all need to learn to share.

  4. The counter should be for the things you use DAILY, and really only 2x a day. Face cleanser and moisturizer and tooth shittery.

  5. Use a cake stand to elevate those items up off the counter surface. They have some at Target for $5 in their little dollar section. That plate will get full and when it does, STOP. That's all that should be out.

  6. Get a few of these to store under your sinks- once they are full, get rid of the rest

  7. Get some clear acrylic trays to organize the make up and make up brushes

You don't need to spend a huge amount of money on this. Go to the dollar store. Go to a thrift store. Use discipline and discernment about what NEEDS to stay out and visible. Bathrooms should be personal sanctuaries. If you're visually overwhelmed the moment you enter, you probably won't feel clean or refreshed.

    Anyway, lots of luck.

I bought this one which seems to be the most common organizer on Amazon. Its decent quality considering the price. My only complaints are that the drawers squeak sometimes when pulling them out and that the drawers could be a little more deep.

I also have a couple of these to hoard my lipsticks on the side. They're super cheap and managed to fit all of the different lipsticks I have so far.

Literally what.

They sell shit like this on Amazon for 10-50 bucks.

Anyone who buys this is foolish.

Thanks! It's basically the top part of an organizer like this.

I think mine's from TJMaxx for $7-8.

I am not 100% sure what "makeup cases" means to you, but I bought this organizer on Amazon for less than $15 and it's quite sturdy: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00UEAI3OQ/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Good size for a starter collection.

I have two of these:

They sit on my bathroom counter.

I have a few different ones. In my bathroom, I have a fairly big acrylic organizer for foundations, single eyeshadows, concealers, etc plus this one for lipsticks. Plus an organizer for my blowdryer, flat iron, curling iron. This isn't the exact one but it's very similar. In the corner next to the tub/shower, I also have a stand that holds my shampoo, body wash/lotion, skincare, etc.

I don't have space for a vanity so I keep another acrylic organizer (same as the one in my bathroom) on my dresser plus this one for palettes (if you stand them up lengthwise you can fit a ton in ... I may or may not have a palette collecting issue).

This way everything has a spot it belongs and it makes it a lot neater. Plus it makes cleaning easier because I can just move the entire organizer, clean under/behind it, etc.

I love seeing and talking about AB storage porn more than anything (but any kind of AB haul is a close second).

My current jam are these stackable plastic bins from Daiso (pink chip clips to close masks and save the essence for the next day). The taller one is just deep enough to store most Cosrx bottles. I've been meaning to make another trip so I can separate my sheet masks by brand.

But my grand plan after I move is to dedicate a whole Ikea Alex drawer unit to AB and these plastic bins will just go into the drawers.

As for cheap acrylic storage units, try Amazon, I have this one, or Ebay I'm digging the pink rotating makeup carousel w shelves

I got some on Amazon, they were in the 15 dollar range and have a lot of room.

Caboodles Crystal Clear acrylic vanity organizers for my makeup, and a few random acrylic trays I got at TJ Maxx or Marshall's for fragrances and eyeshadow palettes. I got the Caboodles at Target, but I'm not sure if they sell them anymore.

The Caboodles I have from the above link are:

The Object of Desire Tray: in this, I store highlighters, my foundation, my concealer, and blushes.

The Cosmetic Counter tray: in this, I store my liquid lipsticks, lip glosses, lip liners (in the square compartments) and in the middle, I store face masks and a few hair products.

I have two more Caboodles that I guess they don't sell anymore. They look like this but without the drawers underneath.

I also have an acrylic brush holder that essentially looks like four acrylic cups glued together. It holds a ton of brushes, and I have face mask packets in one of the compartments.
