I wonder if these people complaining about the low volume are actually deaf :p I just upgraded to the G4 from my old Sony T, and the G4 is much louder.
I'm using [these] (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JE08H8O/ref=twister_B00LAX6VWW?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1). They do a great job of blocking out ambient sound, even my loud ass diesel work truck, and sound great with the stock music app's bass boost.
