Will this be a worthwhile/noticeable upgrade?

I will be just plugging into my TV and playing xbox/ blu rays and watching netflix.
Thanks guys!
For that price you won't get a good mic with a headset, your better off to get a mic, I reccomend this one:
Neewer Mic
It has a boom arm and a pop filter too
And get this too to power the mic properly:
Neewer Phantom Power
Then just get a pair of headphones you like, a desk mic will give you a lot better sound than any headset mic, if you are doing YouTube I would highly suggest doing this and getting a pair of headphones.
My cousin has these they sound pretty good and you won't look like a dork if you have them on in public.
All that is a total of 60£, sure that's 20£ above your budget but the mic sounds really professional, a channel called Podcastage made a video where the entire thing is recorded with it, sounds really nice.
>£100 = $150
I'm in the UK, our tech is generally a lot more expensive. A Pair of QC35's here will set you back £330, where above you said they'd be about $200 in the US. (EDIT: Even buying them pre-owned, at Grade B from CEX will still cost you £195/$262)
I'm saying the majority of people will have headphones far cheaper than £100. Expensive headphones here would be ones that are about £100-150, and those will be kids you sometimes see wearing Beats. The majority of people I know are using cheap in-ear headphones off Amazon, or the ones that came with their phones.
I think the most common on-ear headphones I see in the UK are these Sony MDRZX310 model ones. It's very rare to see someone with expensive headphones exceeding £100 value where I live, and I'm in Glasgow, the largest city in Scotland.
I also work in IT, so there's going to be a disproportionate number of people using higher end kit in my circles. I think I know 1 person who has QC35's, and other than that, I think I'm the person with the next most expensive headphones after that, using a pair of Philips SHB8750NC that I got on sale in Argos for £60.
I use these as normal headphones and I see a lot of students with them. I have the android version, which means there's a little thingy that you can speak voice commands into and then use the button for up to three commands when playing music. Often they are on Amazon for under £20 (normally sells for £25, the android version one sells for £29). These also fold up so they are flat to make it easier to travel with.
Ca serait pas celui-là ton casque d'appoint? C'est ce que j'ai pris en attendant que mon "vrai" casque soit réparé, je pense qu'on fait pas mieux à moins de 20 balles.
I've been using these and they work well. They're comfy & fit over the Rift S headband, have decent enough audio quality, they fold away to store and are relatively cheap.

Would these headphones:

Sound better than these headphones:

For TV/Movies and occasionally other uses like music/gaming?
they're these ones: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-MDRZX310-Foldable-Headphones-Metallic-Black/dp/B00I3LUWQA/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics-accessories&ie=UTF8&qid=1523438512&sr=1-1&keywords=sony+headphones
sorry for not being too helpful lol
Looking on Amazon I've seen the following which fit the length/price criteria:
FOSTO FT58
Sound Intone Ms200
Audiance A2
Intempo
JNTworld
Sony MDR-ZX100W
Urbanz Fabric
Sony MDRZX310
The real issue is I don't know enough about headphones to know which brands and models are reliable and good. For instance the FOSTO headphones above have a very high rating on Amazon, but the reviews are suspicious. Any help navigating this would be greatly appreciated.
Okay that's good to hear!
Do you think they are worth the money over what I'm currently using?
