It's on Amazon.CA for international version for $679. Right now on Amazon.com it's $550 usd which is $700 so this is a fair price for sure.

There's nothing as small but there is the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact and the XZ2 Compact.
The XZ1 Compact has disabled fingerprint reader because sony had patent issues in the US.(though it can be re-enabled) You can buy it here
The XZ2 Compact doesn't have a headphone jack. You can preorder it here
Both phones come with Oreo out of the box and should have very good battery life (though the Xz1's battery is way better).
The Xperia XZ1 Compact sounds just about perfect for you, as long as you're on a GSM network. What carrier do you use?
