Just gotta trim it down a lot, remove all the bad shit, keep the good shit. The Real Clone Saga that came out is a good thing to base it off of.

I would try out the The Real Clone Saga It is a 6 issue hyper condensed version of the clone saga and has the original ending before Marvel taking the wheel and getting the ending that we got.

That's pretty much all it should have been. Granted Ben and Peter tearing up sentinels in Manhattan was a highlight for me. I also really liked Ben Reilly, if not the arc he was involved in.
