The Spyderco Chaparral is only .338" thick.
You're asking $110 trade value for a knife that's $97 new, just so you know.
Yup! The Chaparral is what you are looking for.
It also comes in titanium scales
Here's a comparison picture with a sage 1 on top and the chaparral on the bottom.
Chap is about 3.62" closed vs the Sage which is 4.18". Blade length is only a .2" difference though which is nice. It's a back lock vs the liner lock of the Sage. I understand it's a very nice knife and the carbon fiber scales are practically identical between it and the Sage.
The Chaparral sounds perfect for you.
2.5 oz 2.8 inch plain edge S30V. Very gentlemanly look and deep carry pocket clip (disappears in dark slacks) and it costs around $100 on amazon

Check out the Spyderco Chaparral CF.
Has the same approx. dimensions and function but a bit more heft to it plus a different handle material, steel and lock type.

Didn't want to go against bladehq, but as a consumer, every dollar helps ^_^
