Both Rex and DJ have been released in stores. DJ was part of a wave that came out earlier this year along with Island Journey Rey. The regular release Rex is just now starting to hit at retail. And yeah, you nailed it- Solo figures popping up is because many retailers ignore the street dates for stuff like this. Seems like mostly Walmart and Target right now.
You can find him online for like, 24 USD, or 30 from Amazon. I completely gave up trying to find him in a physical store.
