To get from the PS4's HDMI output to an analog input for the Edifier 3300, you could use an HDMI audio extractor which produces an analog signal:

If you're handy with basic electronics, you could build yourself an RCA to Edifier connector by using a multimeter to probe your broken wired remote (and/or inspect the amplifier on the inside of the woofer) to figure out which of the pins on the D-sub connector are actually used for audio.
