What are the dimensions of the shelf? If it's about 24 inches by 9 inches, you could probably buy 4 or 6 of these clear acrylic magazine holders and stack them horizontally in a 2 by 2 or 2 by 3 configuration. This would give you additional display levels allowing you to show off more LEGO cars.
