On the hardware side, I used a Raspberry Pi 3, this battery, these antennas, this GPS receiver, and this cooling fan. The STL can be found here.

Ok so probably a dumb question here but I don't know much about any of this. I'm building my stratux now and the last part I have to order is the antenna. I was going to order this:

However its out of stock. So does what were talking about here replace that? So all I would need is this? And no external antennas?

This combo is pictured with low power SDR's.
I just ordered a bunch so they are definitely not discontinued.
Well the stratux uses these 2 1090 and 978 MHz antennas as well. Theres no way someone could argue that those aren't receiving and/or transmitting radio signals.
But is working? I mean are you able to have both on and see any 1090 traffic?
