My SI joints and neck are the worst this time of year. I use a jade-infrared heating pad for my hips/SI because the heat seems to penetrate deeper. I think I have this one:

For my neck I use a regular neck heating pad like this:

I’m debating about switching to some sort of heated mattress cover that will stay on for 6-8 hours because most heating pads (like the neck one) shut off at 90 — 120 minutes, which means I wake up with a sore neck and have to turn it back on 1-2 times a night.

I’d love to hear any other ideas or suggestions you’ll have.

I bought a Sunbeam neck and shoulder heating pad to work in addition to my large heating pad for my back. It is wonderful! It warms up my neck and shoulders so well.

I have cervical dystonia and i use this heating pad over my shoulders while I am watching tv and stuff at night. It does have automatic shut off, but I don't sleep with it. I sleep with just a regular heating pad because the shoulder one kinda gets bunched up when I try to lay down with it. The one you linked to looks like it might cover more than mine does though.

See having a heat on my neck feels great but I can never get it in quite the right spot. I'll try rolling it up and placing it tonight while I'm pain free and my brain is working at 100% :p

edit: I've been checking out heating pads and found this. Seems interesting, but I also don't want to spend that much. Adding it to my bday/christmas list :)

I have trouble with circulation and my feet are always cold. My mom bought be a pair of emu slippers one year for Christmas these ones . The sheepskin makes my feet warm but not sweaty!
They always do the trick. And in the winter when I get in bed I have a heating pad that turns off after 2 hours (or I shut it off if my feet are warm enough) that I wrap around my feet even though it's meant to wrap around your shoulders it still works! This one
