Using Reaper and Asio4All (both free) you could set up something that has a lower delay.

this dongle will also give you the same effect with literally 0 delay. (you need 3.5mm headphones and mic though)

I believe it, theres a lot of truth to what you say. The bottle neck is the source. As years advance we're getting shittier and shittier artists producing music. There a lot of digging for quality work.
You have a lot of people huddling to protect the amounts theyve spent or the free market which isnt actually being discussed.

But rather the realistic nature of things.

The title audiophile is realisticly a hobby. And people buy these art pieces to explore a new world..

As a collector the HD800s would be a nice piece to have with their own tube amp. The x2/27s i think im going to get ive been told the compliment the 800s and im a big fan of that open ear feel.

Newbie question. Planning on getting the ATH‑AD900X for gaming on a PS4. Do I need or would you recommend getting an amp? Looking for a great gaming experience but want to try and keep it all under $150. I'm getting a mod mic and USB adapter to run audio and mic through.

Go to the games sound settings and switch it to "headphones", most games will calculate the positional audio directly in the game's audio engine that way. That's all you need to do.

Otherwise, if a game doesn't support that or something, there are some 3rd party dacs that have surround effects through external software, but they tend to be slightly less accurate as far as actual positioning goes compared to the internal game engine. Logitech makes one

I mean, you can plug the headset directly into your audio/mic jacks on your PC, or you can get a replacement dongle on Amazon or Ebay or something.

No, that won't work, you need one specifically for splitting into a headphone and microphone jack. All you're doing now is shorting the microphone and headphone signal together.

Also consider getting a device specifically made for your headset.

Well my logitech g430 comes with this external sound card

I've been able to make it so it spits out audio from one deck into my laptop speakers and the other out my headphones

This is the USB dongle that Antlion makes. You plug the mod mic into the analog jack, and this into your PC. Then in your recording devices, you select this as your mic.

I personally use the USB dongle that came with my Logitech G430 headsets. I just have the mod mic running into the Mic jack, and it works great, and receives the power it needs.

You may have one laying around from an old headset that could also work. Only the mic is going to be running off it anyways, since your headset will go direct to the mobo OR will run to whatever amp/dac you buy.
