The rack is located in a guest/jacket closet off the main foyer. I drilled a hole in the ceiling and am venting out the heat through the attic to luckily an unused vent in the roof. I am using a very quiet, low flow inline fan I bought here:

Wanted to give something back to the Reddit community as I learned a ton from everyone here.

No, it doesn't matter. You can def do better than $159 for a 4" setup though. I think my favorite setup now is the iPower Filter with a Silent Terrabloom Fan. You can actually wedge the fan inside the filter, and they're so light that the straps hold it all up super easy. You'll hardly realize there's a fan at all when it's all set up. To minimize CFM reduction, I cut the duct in half, and create a straight shot out of the tent.

C) I would get a smaller exhaust fan that provides at least a little bit of fresh air into the tent. I have this one for the same size tent and it works with my carbon filter when the temps are super low and the humidity is in the 20s. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075333HWM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
