I did. First I let them soak in the hottest water I could get out of the tap for 10 minutes. Then I ran the line to each bar direct without anything but tubing directly attached too then. I ran them for 15 minutes unplugged for 5 then added my air control valve (optional) and plugged it back in and we were in business. I have the bars running off a Whisper 60 to 100 Gallon. Some say it’s overkill, but what the hell Amazon has them for 8$ shipped if you buy the damaged box one. I have purchased 3 and no issues! They are close to 20$ plus at Petsmart and many local fish stores. Here is the link to the one I bought. I have two more in the way for foam filters I purchased from aquarium co op. I’m into this fish keeping hobby! 3 months into it and I LOVE IT. Let me know if you try my technique and tell me how it works for you.

that 400 gal pump is split among 4 buckets and those stones are really small

i use this airpump with two of these stones
