Sibo is small intestinal bacterial overgrowth. Bad gut bacteria that produce ammonia. Like Lyme.. And like Lyme they mess with the brain. One of the main causes is antibiotics use.. My doctor says my Lyme is under control but I still have gut issues and memory problems. I've taken several courses of gut antibiotics for the sibo and miraculous, my mind was clear again! Day and night difference! Also another thing to consider is yeast overgrowth. It can have the same effect as sibo. I keep relapsing because when the sibo is under control the yeast flares up and vice versa..
One solution could be a fecal transplant!

A better, more scientific name for leaky gut is intestinal permeability.
High doses of colostrum (10 gram/day) and l-glutamine (up to 50 gram/day) should help fix it.
Anyway, don't want to get your hopes up too high. We are all different after all...
If fixing the gut doesn't solve your problems, you can always look into nootropics.
