This is the book he was fired for writing and it is a great read. As a TG fan and a big driving enthusiast, I highly recommend it. A very inspiring book.

One does if he writes a book.

I've read many Bill Bryson books multiple times, but "A Walk in the Woods", "In a Sunburned Country " and "I'm a Stranger Here Myself" are my favorite. I started with "A Walk in the Woods" because of my love of hiking. I expanded to his other books because of his sense of humor and his wit. I highly suggest reading one of the 3 mentioned above. Even if you're not into hiking or backpacking, "A Walk in the Woods" is a great read.

I've also read "The Catcher in the Rye" multiple times. I just enjoy it. I like how Holden Caulfield doesn't care.

Another one that I enjoyed was "A Walk Across America" by Peter Jenkins. I read this one when I was SUPER into hiking and camping. Plus the relationship between Peter Jenkins and his dog really stuck home with me.

EDIT to add reasons for the multiple reads AND to add the following

My dad had a copy of "Helter Skelter" by Vincent Bugliosi, and having only heard of Charles Manson I decided to give it a read. I'm not normally into darker stuff like this, but I've read that book at least 4 times. I love it. On a differnet note, but still by Vincent Bugliosi I'd suggest checking out "Shadow of Cain". [I you want to read this one, here be spoilers so precede with caution: ](#s "The book is fiction, but I assumed it wasn't. I read the whole thing and went to look up the main character, only to find out that Ray Lomack was a fictional character.")

I'll also highly suggest the two following books by Cormack McCarthy: "No Country for Old Men" and "The Road". I'd seen both the movies for those prior to reading the books, and I suggest both. They share so much, but are at the same time so much different. Both are highly suggested. I've not read any other books by Cormack McCarthy, but I plan on checking some others out.

Finally I'm currently reading "The Man in the White Suit" by Ben Collins. It is about Ben Collins life, and his time as the tame racing driver, The Stig on BBC's Top Gear

It's a bandit with the iridium visor. I purchased it at the Simpson factory, so it's not anything special. I have thought about getting a display case for my helmets though.

Also, Schumacher was never the Stig.. It was Ben Collins. He wrote a book about it.

Not necessarily F1, but Ben Collins's The Man in the White Suit.
He does mention his attempts at F1 at a certain point, so it's slightly related.
