I thought this book was solid. It tells the story of a former member of the Pagan's MC in New York in the 1960s. Definitely a more nostalgic look at the 'glory days' of the oulaw bikers and hardly touches on the more modern aspects of mcs, but it's a great read. Highly recommended.

EDIT: Also they have the introduction in the preview which I thought was pretty well written if you want to check that out.

I know they may not be exactly what you are after but both these books show the outlaw perspective from an 'outsider' who lives the outlaw life for a period of time 1 2
Another good read is Mafia Enforcer Which is about a guy who was president of a MC who then went on to be a hit man for the Canadian Mafia.
this book is also worth a read as it has a few good looks into the daily routine of a MC

Well, there's already a board game that's pretty good. Does that ease your mind at all?

Very nice. Thanks.
For those you can't get on Spotify maybe the latest Album release would help too. S1-4

The buying option only gives me $242.00 for this. Fuck that. I'll take DVDs for a fifth of this price, I guess. This is the one I keep seeing as a "normal" purchase. It's a different region from me. My main point though... there should be more than this right? There's one or two random Blu rays out there for $0-250. But there should be a production of Blu rays for this series... just like any other series. What's up with this? I can randomly stumble into Blu rays for Thrones, Band of Brothers... most shows. SoA doesn't seem to have a regular US Blu Ray

Also, thank you for the answer. I realize not a lot of people are asking "Anyone know where i can get a physical copy?" these days. So thanks for taking the time to answer

If you're looking for more info on the series, I would suggest this

Bought it as a gift for someone and ended up reading it cover to cover before wrapping it Christmas Eve

If you're up for it, a good read is "Under and Alone" by William Queen. Its about an undercover ATF agent who infiltrated an outlaw motorcycle gang (OMG). I took some criminal justice classes that talked about OMGs and the 1%ers, and that book was recommended to me by my instructor. It doesn't, of course, discuss much of what most MCs do, but it does talk about some that are similar to SOA.

Hired as a technical advisor for the series. He's a Hells Angel. Owns a tattoo shop. Also a scriptwriter and builds and repairs bikes.

He wrote a memoir Becoming a Son

He's done a lot of different shit in his life. It's not great literature and needs editing but it's an interesting read. It's basically an autobiography.

It's all over Tumblr. It concerns this collector's book.

u/tomtoast · 3 pointsr/Sonsofanarchy

There is also a 'Sons of Anarchy: The Official Collector's Edition' book coming out soon, here and here is an article regarding the book, here.

This isn't just a possible finale - this is actually something that leaked from the collector's book. Someone else already posted this in a thread but it isn't suppose to come out until after the finale. Publisher shipped it early or something. It's legit. And kind of expected.

I read the book "No Angel" a few years back it taught me a lot about this world. It's about an undercover ATF agent that penetrates the Hell's Angels. Personally I really liked it, but the ending will piss you off.
