In all seriousness though unless you’re dead set on that backpack and it’s comfortable to you I’d go to a black civilian type. I’ve been through that awkward phase where I first joined ROTC and had a super moto backpack. Took me a whole year to realize that a lot of those backpacks are too much for regular school use. Been rocking a Northface backpack because it’s way more comfortable. Highly recommend a brand like that since it’s just more comfortable.
Doesn’t mean there’s no use for them in ROTC because I’ve used something like this for AEF LLABs. However, I would recommend you prioritize what you’ll use for school first. All the molle and velcro in the world won’t help when it’s just a big awkward bag. To each his own though.
