Try a northface bag? Mine has lasted for 5 years and is still fine other than looking a bit beat up.

Lowepro and osprey are also good i just haven't had personal experience with them.
Edit: I only just swapped to the vault this year due to reduced work load and better looks.
Personally I have the north face vault in blue, i use it for carrying my laptop, stuff for work and bike stuff. It's got a good amount of pockets under the inner zip. Laptop is easy access at the back.
I use it mainly for cycling to and from work it fits my work clothes, lunch, chunky boi work laptop and still has room.
It's well padded and it also works well as a overnight bag.
