Sure I'll bite:

> I just want to know why exactly you think the location of Twin Peaks is relevant?

Geographical location, the fact that there's a state called Oregon between California and Washington State, and there's plenty of local lore native to Los Angels and greater California that has already been included.

>In no way do I believe they have created some sort of Mini-Twin Peaks or anything. I just think they may have been "inspired" by the whole Owl Cave Mystery in Twin Peaks, along with the Duality Theme, and potentially Moon Cycle & Planetary Alignment Triggers.

I mean in some ways if you are correct, then they have created a mini Twin-Peaks, or Tri-Peaks considering there are multiple mountains. Your theory is interesting, and as you suggested before there seem to be some things that are definitely in parallel. I can also appreciate the suggestion of Dadaism, as I've recently done some work on a post relating to that as well with one of the galleries in game, which seems to be another parallel.

Like I said I'm, 50/50.

Perhaps you should also re-read the Secret Diary of Laura Palmer. Might be something in there as well, or might dig up some information that is relevant.
