Not at all. The human mind and sexuality have not changed radically since 1985. A better analogy would be looking at Drawin's writings on evolution, which are over 100 years old, today.

A newer book called "The Trauma Myth" released just a few years ago by Harvard PhD Susan Clancy deals with the same issue:

Susan Clancy was recently forced to seek asylum in South America after receiving numerous death threats, so it's understandable that scientists are not too eager to do more research.

The forcible suppression of child sexuality is indeed an egregious human rights violation. Pre-pubescent children have been put on sex offender registries for having sex with other children, and for possessing child pornography of themselves.

It is nonsensical to compare slavery, oppression of blacks, etc to two individuals engaging in a safe, consensual, and mutually pleasurable activity.
