I have owned about 4-5 messenger bags in my lifetime. Hands down my favorite bag so far is the Timbuk2 Command bag

Looks good yet has a deceiving amount of storage, can be thin but also expand if you have extra stuff, waterproof, the list goes on. Oh and did I mention, it comes with a lifetime warranty.
