we bought these - enough to fence off the EC and the tv. only two option are out of reach entirely, or quarantine.
fwiw, you will be lucky if you make it to a 10th birthday without breaking something expensive "this is why we can't have nice things " - buy something you are happy with, but have the budget to replace when considering future purchases. my daughter is two, we have been lucky. every one of our friends with kids have some sort of electronics horror story. for us it was cell phones - we dubbed her "destroyer of phones" 3 phones in one year. never so happy I got the insurance plan before.
