The one drawback to these is that, they're not Bluetooth Compatible with the PS4, so a wire does need to be connected from the headset to the PS4 controller in order to voice chat.
The battery lasts for at least 12 hours fully charged, and doesn't take more than 2 hours to charge it up. Comes with a really long charging cable.
You can also plug it into your PC and customize both the audio output as well as input. They even offer drivers for the headset that are designed to work for specific games, if you choose. I just rock the default setup with a few EQ adjustments and it works just fine.

I know you said you were sour on turtle beach, but I love these as a headset. They are normally pricey, but are available used. I bought mine used, and spent $150. They are awesome. No wires, syncs with my phone, and sounds great. 50 bucks over your budget, but I love my used pair.

could i use adapter and Headset as long as i have that cable that goes between them?
