Before you pay the big bucks, try some of this shit (got mine at O'Reilly). Works like magic and even smells decent. Mats looked like new afterward.
Foaming car seat cleaner meant for odors followed by some Febreze always worked well for me when I used to smoke. Spray the foaming cleaner and really scrub it in, then febreze it and let it air out for a few hours.

I don't use the interior cleaner brush, just spray on and wipe off mostly, gets rid of a lot of odors and stains.
