What I did for Warhammer Diskwars (which uses the right-angle boundary markers too) is got a 36" X 36" cork board from Hobby Lobby. I then purchased some felt to cover the area and glued it with VERY THIN application of Tacky Glue (think Craft Elmer's glue). I stress VERY THIN as if you put too much, it will bleed thru the felt and create a hard spot.
This has worked out great...and its double sided so I have one side black (for space!!!) and green (for grass)
I suggest an arts and crafts store (Jo-Ann's Fabric, Hobby Lobby, Michaels) as they will run coupons for '50% off one item' weekly (they have phone apps which make them easier to find) so the ~$20 bulletin board becomes half price.
I tried to find something similar on Amazon to link, but all they have are rectangles, and their prices are high and I'd imagine shipping is high too cause of their awkward size.

As you can guess, this is not portable, but I usually host games at my house so no big deal.
