It's actually super duper easy to replace. Take off the back of the phone. At the bottom, in the center, you'll see a piece of plastic held down by just one screw. Take the screw out, lift up the plastic, and you should be able to figure it out from there. Here's an Amazon link for a replacement - more expensive than ebay but it'll also exist for a while.

I am an expert on cell phone parts from china, and I imagine there are parts from 3-4 different factories mixed into this one listing. It is a pretty big joke, because you never know what quality you are going to get.
This is why I find a quality product and BRAND it with my trademark, and sell quality shiz, all while trying to keep other chinese sellers from polluting my listing.
