BEFORE YOU BUY : make sure your z-wave controller supports this 5 gen device.( Simple systems like WINK does NOT ! ) ANY alarm system users : your provider does not allow to use some devices purchased off their dealers, especially door sensors, motion sensors, multisensors, sirens. Most likely you won't be able to pair it with your system.Loud audible alarm>105dB@1 meter *LED strobe lighting *Low battery detection.100ft line of sight *LED Status IndicatorWorking Voltage: 6V ( 4 x AAA batteries - included )New, improved Z-Wave Plus chip.Z-Wave Plus Certification Number: ZC10-15050013. I made an alarm by using an IOT plug and a horn I bought on amazon. I did have to wire power into the horn so it could plug in.

When any of my doors open when armed, it turns on that plug and the siren goes off. It's loud. Of course if you don;'t want to fuck around, you can use a z-wave siren for about $30.

most professional/better alarm systems come with one wired siren connection but you can install additional sirens that get activated wirelessly.. the additional sirens can either be battery or hardwired.

Wireless window sensors are easy to install and they normally have long lasting batteries.. maybe 5 years or so and can be replaced.

Ademco has decent wireless contacts and devices like motion detectors.. motions should be used when you are not home. most alarm systems have 2 activated settings.. home and away.. a motion can be set in the home setting if you know you won't be going near it.. or you can disable your alarm if you need to go near that area .

Your alarm can send signal to your alarm company over a GSM Phone Sim Card you install in it so if you have decent cell service that will work.. if not you might need to buy a cell phone signal booster and that will also improve your cellphone reception.

Some of these systems will provide limited video coverage over GSM.. you can get pics sent to an email..

Also you could possibly get a WiFi Hotspot for your internet access .. ATT and Verizon have decent plans and are not really expensive .. $50 a month maybe and you would have enough bandwidth to check your cameras when you are not home.

You will have to do your research on the products you buy

Cellphone Booster (would improve your cellphone and alarm system both)

Honeywell cameras to work with your alarm

you may want an additional NVR Camera System but it won't work with your Alarm and the GSM Phone Sim .. Also you will need an alarm contract to view your cameras from your alarm system..

If you install an internet hotspot from ATT Verizon sprint whoever .. that will be your system to monitor and it won't be passed through your alarm system or alarm company.

Alarm.com is a decent company to go with for self monitoring .. if you just want a basic account to access your alarm and alarm attached cameras..

suretyDIY is a reseller of Alarm.com and they also sell alarm kits

https://suretydiy.com/store/

Other options you might want are smoke detectors that set off your alarm system

Good Luck .. being out in nowhere I strongly suggest that you document all of your belongings .. get serial numbers and pictures of everything from your stove to your lawn mower or tractor and take pics .. and depend on your insurance if you're not home to defend it.

Also remember to tell your insurance company you have a system so you get a discount

In the reviews for the strobe included in that package https://www.amazon.com/VISION-ZM1601US-5-Z-wave-Wireless-Battery/dp/B01GQW2YC2/ref=sr_1_1?s=photo&ie=UTF8&qid=1480880653&sr=8-1&keywords=wink+strobe people say it doesn't work for the Wink. I only need the strobe/alarm because I already have the door sensors.
