I've got the medium sized Uplift Corner L-Desk and even though it's one of the larger desks, space gets eaten up underneath the desk quickly, another reason I like the monitor arm+VESA mount option.

I would mount this on the left side of the desk, left of the left legs if you know what I mean, that way it’s out of the way, has enough airflow and cables wont touch the ground (except the charger, i have to take this with the laptop everytime i leave the house.
