Will be perfect for this trip, since I'm going to be doing a lot of filming in HD, and this device will be great to offload video files off my camera's SD card. So it'll be nice to have on the flight for additional movies and stuff, and serves a purpose outside of the flight too.

I've been using the GoPro Quik Key to dump them to phone that has 256gb of storage, then I can easily take the phone to a place with wifi.
Another option is the WD My Passport Wireless hard drive that has an SD port and a battery built in. Amazon link below. My understanding is that it's the second generation device, and that it's worked out some of the kinks from the first generstion.
