I think you can buy mats for drum sets that are supposed to insulate the sound? Honestly, you might be just as well off with those kids’ foam play mats that link together. NOPE! Black shows lint from socks and stuff real quick, and white gets really grubby since it shows any kind of dirt or particles clearly.
Thought a chess board pattern would look nice, so I got the worst of both worlds. If I could do it over I would go with solid tan.
