PSA: Do not buy from the Xbox Store. I did this and ended up contacting customer service and having them cancel/refund me. Best bet if you want to take advantage of this promo is to purchase from Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004VSTQ2A/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_dp_T1_rmNqzbE6F8K7S)

I received an email with code for the 3 month Gold subscription instantly and about 10 minutes later a second email with a code for Rocket League.

I got it from Amazon and I received both the game code and live gold code at the same time in different emails.

Funny you should say that, I missed it entirely when I first loaded the page. Amazon has identical boxes like that on all of their pages typically about a "deal."

I went straight down into the product description section, then went up to the technical details, neither of which have it, and then I searched "Note 3" to discover that box.

Yes exactly the same. It is so the-same that it doesn't stand out at all. It should be a big red warning box or similar.

I can list more examples but my point is that Samsung aren't warning people very well and they're getting a lot of returns as a direct result. You can blame Amazon if you want, but Samsung could have put it in the product description.
