Earbuds / IEM: Xiaomi Hybrid - Maganda yung sound quality kung titignan mo ang presyo, around 800 - 1000. Durable din, may mga duct tape na sa mga endpoint. Gamit ko pang Discord hanggang ngayon.

Check out Technigent or Techshop28, nalilito ako kung sino dyan yung nagbebenta ng mga xiaomi products. Pero nakabili na ko sa kanila ng dalawang beses.

Warranty?

Buy copycat break/malfunction then warranty is another option.

Or if you really want over the ear, save up and get the Sennheiser HD 598 Cs that comes with a mic on the cord.

Tbh OP, none of the headphones you've listed are "audiophile" quality. Gaming headsets are notoriously overpriced for the sound you get.

And if you just absolutely can't spend more than $60, I would get the Xiaomi Hybrids. They are extremely good for the price, isolate well, and have a mic.

Just pickup a few of the latest Xiaomi's. they are less than $30 normally on Amazon and sound quite good. Plus they are cheap enough that you can buy a another pair as backup.

I think I'm looking at the Hybrid Pros then, or 1More if I can find them somewhere. Regarding buying it online - eBay and Amazon have 'reputable sellers', would it be OK to buy from them or just avoid it altogether? Otherwise, I'll probably have to hunt around here locally. Thanks!

If you're not sure, I'd stay away from eBay and Amazon altogether. There are some reputable stores that sell stock on eBay/Amazon but they will also have brick and mortar storefronts and their own website as well so no reason to go for Ebay/Amazon.

I took a quick look at eBay Australia and couldn't find any reputable sellers for Xiaomi Hybrid Pros. I found several listings that were clearly too cheap to be real and a few in the +$50AUD which could be real but you can't tell since those are sold by private sellers rather than a reputable store.

In the Amazon listings you gave me, the 1Mores are real. Xiaomi is the correct item listing but it's a fake due to the poor cable quality from the reviews and how it couldn't be verfied. These are the real Xiami Hybrid Pros, you can see it's sold by Amazon themselves who would not sell fakes, notice the price difference as well.

I read an old post here that the Xiaomi Piston 2 were great earbuds for $25 and doing a search all that I could find are the "Xiaomi professional Store Hybrid Dual Mi Hybrid Earphone" for the same price. Are these considered the replacement/upgrade from the Piston 2s? And are they a great set for the price for my teen-aged kids? Looking for under $40 (cad), I have an android phone and it would be great (but not necessary) to have volume and pause controls. I would prefer wires and would sacrifice some sound quality for durability and muted (but not ugly) looks. need purchase advice. I loved my xaiomi piston IIs and when they broke I had a friend of mine grab me a pair of their hybrids while he was in China since they weren't being sold in the states. Now both these and these are up on Amazon. Which ones are legit they both have decent reviews but on the second link one review talked about it not being produced by xaiomi. Thanks

I also want to try some special glue for silicones to get the best sealing between the inner part and stayhear tips, maybe even this week

I have a pair of Xiaomi headphones, check em out. Very very solid for the price, about a billion reviews out there.

I had those same exact headphones, and I really did think they were great for the cost. But I just couldn't justify them over a normal pair headphones (currently using these and loving them). The audio is a touch worse, regular wired headphones are much lighter and (this last one is on me to be honest) charging them is a pain to remember, and they always choose to go out at the worst possible time. While I enjoy that BT headphones are an option, nothing will beat a normal pair of wired headphones in cost, sound, weight and convenience.

which xiaomi pistons would you recommend buying? I can only find this one and this one. I would really like a pair that lives up to my Xiaomi Piston 3s. Sadly they were discontinued and a replacement would be amazing.
