I carry a Zeiss Monocular
The one I linked, though it looks like the one I have, I don't think that's the current model. I've had mine for more than ten years. For 100-200 yards, it's all I need. Wouldn't recommend it for longer range, but it's light and is about the size of a magic marker.
And even smaller... I EDC a Zeiss MiniQuick 5x10 Monocular. The only thing about it that isn't perfect is the price, but if you can afford one it is worth the money.
I use a Zeiss Miniquick monocular. I don't have the exact weight but I'm guessing its less than 2oz. Its a luxury item but fun to have for looking at wildlife/birds.
